The Beagle dog breed is known to be a sweet, gentle, and very curious dog breed. Beagle puppies love everyone! They are known to be little tail-waggers and super outgoing. The Beagle is seen by many Beagle Dog Breeders as a brave and intelligent dog breed.
The Beagle has an easy-care, short coat, which can come in many colors. There are tri-colored Beagles, black and tan Beagles, red and white Beagles, orange and white Beagles, or lemon and white Beagles. The coat is tight, and medium in length. The Beagle is known for its long, wide ears. Their brown or hazel eyes have a puppy dog, or pleading expression.
Since the Beagle is so calm and affectionate, they are known to be very excellent with children and kids of all ages. Beagle puppies are also known to be good with other dogs. To Train a Beagle, one must understand that they have a mind of their own and require patient, and consistent training.
Beagle pups need to be around people or other animals all the time. They do not like to be left alone. If you will be gone for a considerable amount of time buying two Beagles is recommended. This way the Beagles will keep each other company. Beagles by nature will follow their own noses, so keeping the Beagle on a leash when outdoor is recommended.
The Beagle dog breed can be okay in an apartment as long as they are taken for daily walks or exercise. Beagles need to be outdoors often at least twice a day. They thrive off of the outdoors. Your new Beagle puppy can seem to be very active indoors and may need a small yard or a good amount of outside time to run around and tire themselves out just remember your leash for the dog as they can follow their little noses and disappear fairly quickly. Beagles are full of energy and love to play with their new family any chance that they get!
