The Brussels Griffon is a sturdy toy dog breed. Brussels Griffon puppies are an intelligent and happy dog breed with a very even disposition. Brussels Griffon dogs make wonderful house pets. They have tons of personality and are great companion dogs. The Brussels Griffon dog breed has a coat of fur that has a few different textures. There are the rough-coated which seems harsh wiry and dense, and the smooth-coated or Petit Brabancon type which is a short, straight, and glossy coat. The coat coloring can vary from red, a mixture of red-brown and black, black & tan griffons, and solid black Brussels griffons.
