The Pomapoo is a mixed breed or hybrid of the purebred Pomeranian and the purebred poodle. This could be a teacup, toy, or miniature poodle. Since the Pomapoo is a hybrid of both purebred breeds the characteristics and temperament of the Pomapoo will be similar to that of both the Pomeranian and the Poodle. The Pomeranian dog breed is a toy dog breed that is very small and looks like a fox. The dog is very compact and little with lots of fur that can vary in color. The Pomeranian sometimes will resemble a little teddy bear. The Pomeranian will weigh around 4 to 8lbs.
The temperament of the Pomapoo will probably be very outgoing and sweet with some protective qualities. They may also be very smart and quiet by nature. These temperament qualities can vary from mix breed pup. The Poodle dog breed is a breed that is small quiet breed. The coat is usually in tight curls close to the body with hypoallergenic qualities. The Pomapoo may be more hypoallergenic because of the poodle throughout the bloodlines. The coat color of the Poodle can vary just like the Pomeranian. The Pomapoo can have a wide variety of colors to the coat as well as textures.
As far as exercise goes the Pomapoo will be a relatively small dog even at full grown maturity. So the pup can get adequate exercise from indoor playing and activities but will enjoy daily walks out outdoor free time.
