We just came back from taking a ride with Bella in New York City traffic. She loved it. Tried to get into the car and sat on Ellen’s lap. She is a joy, became my “shadow” and follows me around. Right now she is under my desk sleeping. If I get up she will also get up and fall asleep at the next place I will be. She had a busy day, plays with all her toys (left over from Lily) and chased the cats (they are her play mates). Bella is 90% house broken (we take her out every 2 hours but occasionally has an accident). Nobody believes me that she has been with us only one week. Bella is a sweetheart and I can’t walk her in the street without somebody stopping us and petting her. Bella doesn’t use her crate. We rolled up the carpet and she has the run of the apartment. She chews her chewees and doesn’t touch the furniture or shoes (perfect puppy).

I don't know if you will remember me, but I bought a German Shepherd named Ryder in April. You helped me a lot and I just wanted you to know that I appreciated everything you did for me. Ryder is a great dog. He is always with me and I love him dearly. Everyone in my family loves the dog. He is very well behaved and even is nice when he meets strangers. He is in a puppy obedience class now and the trainer says she has never seen a German Shepherd puppy with such a great temperament. She said that he must have had a great breeder. Everyone compliments me on his behavior all of the time. I am very proud of him and I kind of spoil him a little because of that, but not to the point where I make him rotten. He follows his commands and he sleeps very good at night and only barks when someone is at the door. My husband loves him and Ryder waits for him to come home at night. All I have to say is, "Daddy", and he gets all excited and goes to the door tail wagging. He takes my husbands coffee cup from him and we are trying to get him to put it in the sink.(lol) Well, I just wanted you to know that you and the breeder did an excellent job and I would definitely use this service again or recommend it to a friend.

Today is the one month anniversary of receiving our puppy “Claudia” from you. So I just wanted to send a note to update you on how well the puppy is doing. Claudia has now been renamed Oreo and she is happy and thriving. The puppy was a birthday gift to our 8 year old daughter who was absolutely overcome with joy when given the dog. She has thanked us pretty much every single day in the last month for giving her the best and cutest puppy ever! Hi everybody, I got Cracker with an April Fool's Joke the other day........I told her I was driving to Philly to pick up an 8 week old baby girl from California which I planned on adopting.. She of course didn't believe me.......then I swore to it. She said, "You better not be lying!" I said, I wasn't. All of that was true......just it's a puppy. I was just sending you an update on how Buster, or as we call him "Alfie" is doing at our home. Alfie is quite the character, he loves to play with his toys, and he wrestles with my hands. He is definitely a cuddle bug, and sleeps on my lap all the time. He has adjusted quite well, and even the cat is finally accepting the new addition. He is doing well with training, and has learned to come, sit, sometimes to stay. We have been working on the potty training, and he still has accidents every-now and then, but that is to be expected. He has enjoyed coming to work with me, and has become the company mascot, and my director even said we are going to have to get him a company shirt! He has grown a bit, and gained a little over a pound. We have been working on socialization, and at my work he gets plenty of human interaction. We have also joined a frenchie club, and our first meet up is March 6th, so he will have had all his boosters by then. Thanks again for helping us with this wonderful pup.

I am sure the breeder is missing this sweet girl because she has already melted our hearts in less than a week. I can't imagine giving her up. The breeder has done a great job of training her as well. The vet, the pet stores, and friends all are amazed at what a good girl she is and how calm and gentle she is. They really did a great job of raising her.

I would like to introduce you to Crystal's big sisters. The attached photo is of Destiny, another Blue Merle Sheltie, and Mysti, a yellow lab/retriever mix. They have been wonderful in helping us to raise Crystal this last year. As a matter of fact they all have nicknames. They are Sissy, Crissy, and Missy. Crissy is all puppy and helps to keep the 6 and 7 year old older sisters young. They play and wrestle all over inside and out. She loves to be teamed up on and it is amazing how gentle the other two are. Of course we keep a very close eye on them when they play. She hates to go outside without at least one of them, but will do so to run around and chase the leaves. She was a gift for my husband for his welcome home from Iraq. It wasn't a surprise as he chose her from online while he was over there. But she quickly grew into our hearts. Of course, the cat rules the roost, but Crystal still hasn't learned that and tries to play with her all the time. We thank you very much for our healthy and happy baby.

She loves to run so much, we're considering renaming her Scooter - she's very fast. She plays hard then zonks out. The cats still don't know what to make of her. The older cat just disappears into the garage or upstairs. She is a very placid dog. She is sleeping well, no fuss when we put her to bed. Nothing seems to upset her. From the day we picked Jet up from the airport, it was love at first sight! He would not leave our side. We just celebrated his first birthday, February 15th! Little Chloie aka Jenny, made it to PA on December 16th. When we arrived to the flight room at the airport we could see our little puppy looking out of her pet taxi and I could tell she was so happy! My girlfriend and I went to your site and immediately purchased our new puppy! After doing so we had a few questions, and even though it was a Sunday, we received a call back from Thomas with in minutes. Whenever we had any questions, someone answered them right away. We were so excited we could hardly wait for Bailey to get here! We were very nervous about her flying on a plane by herself. We tracked her through the Continental Flight Tracking System and she arrived on time, safe and healthy. As soon as we greeted her, she bounced and barked "Hello" and was stole our hearts from that moment on! She is just the sweetest, cutest, SMARTEST little pup! She learned sit and shake with in the first week we had her! The very next day the breeder called us to make sure that we got her and to see how she was doing. Of course our response was that we could not be any happier. We took her to our Vet and had her first checkup done. We just have to say the entire process went smoothly and PERFECT! You’ll be happy to know that Cody and I already have our routine down pat! Most mornings he rides to town with me in the car. When he doesn’t want to go he will come outside and stop at the garage door. I usually say okay "You stay home" and put him inside with the kitchen door closed. The door does not latch so Cody can easily open it when he wants. By the time I am half way to the car; he is on my heels and can’t stand for me to leave him alone for more than a minute! Potty training has been going great too. Since I put the puppy light outside, Cody has been going out to potty at night all on his own. I would say he is really close to being housed trained. Cody is so smart but we are still amazed at how he pretty much figured it out on his own! We go for walks and jogs everyday but I have to admit that sometimes he is the one walking me!

We received our puppy almost a month ago now and it's hard to imagine our lives without him. I wanted to send you an update on my puppy... He is doing great and is the sweetest thing. I could not have asked for a better pup. We went to our first Puppy Class yesterday and he found a little English Bulldog to be best friends with. He's doing pretty good with the potty training - still has small accidents but if he really has to go he either goes to the paper or the door. He's finally learning to walk with a leash - he was not too crazy about that - he prefers to run/walk alongside me without it but he's learning. I could take him so many different places once he learns to enjoy walking with it. He loves running in the yard and running the stairs - it really helps wear him out too. As soon as we come back in - he zonks out. Thanks again - he's a great little guy...

This puppy is just to good to be true...she has only cried one night for 5 minutes and sleeps till 7:30 without a peep! At night she potty's on her piddle pad only. Skeeter is great, we never imaged being able to replace Sparky and although he's still in our hearts Skeeter has the uncanny ability to steal the show. As a past hunter Skeeter has all the instincts of a hunting dog protecting us from rabbits in our yard. He points, you say fetch and he'll do his best to circle the rabbit back to you. We took him to dog classes and he was the class clown and still past head of his class. Healthy, cute, and a major part of our family we are working on video to send for the contest.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on how Sprite is doing. It's funny, Sprite is running around like crazy right now and then comes to see me for some love and then he is off again. He is typically sound asleep for the night by now! Anyway...Sprite is such an amazing puppy! He goes potty outside as long as he is taken out often enough - so much better then I expected! He poops only on the left side of our back yard but will pee anywhere in the yard as long as there is grass under his paws. He loves to roll around in the grass and play chase. He even lets me clean his paws and belly and face when we get back in. Sprite is mouthing like crazy right now and we are going through teething toys and treats like mad! He loves his NuVet Plus. We decided to continue feeding Sprite the same food the breeder was feeding him in order to avoid any belly issues. I did end up adding wet puppy food to the kibbles because Sprite would not eat his food otherwise. He seems to care more about chew toys and treats at this time rather then his meals. Sprite is such a loving baby boy! And very well socialized, at least with people. It took him no time at all to feel right at home with us and in our home. He somehow knows that I'm the mom and follows me around everywhere even when my husband is around. He goes back and forth between playing with my 3 year old and hiding from her. My daughter loves Sprite and has been refusing to take naps because she doesn't want to be away from him. When she talks about him she is so proud and call him "My Sprite". Alex is learning to be gentle and how to handle Sprite so constant supervision is needed. If supervision is not possible Sprite goes in his indoor play pen where he has room to roam, toys and a bed. The play pen is in the living room under a window so he is still a part of everything our family is doing when he is in there AND chances Alex right by the pen talking to Sprite and sharing her toys. Sprite does great in his crate and in the car. Oh, I gave him a bath already with no problems whatsoever. Also, he is enrolled in puppy training classes - I just went to the orientation on Tuesday - lots of homework and lots of great info! I am simply in love with this little man! He just makes my heart melt! It's a lot of work with a puppy and an active 3 year old but well worth it! Thank you for everything!

Mya is doing really well. She a great traveler: she sleeps. As I do with all my pets, I had a dog trainer come to my home shortly after I got her, just so that a professional could evaluate her strengths and weaknesses: she loved her: after the initial evaluation, there was no need for more classes. She's a mixture of smart, calm, playful and spunky. And she's a Mommy's girl! She's not a big eater but she loves her snacks of fresh apples, blueberries, cranberries and greek yogurt: she's the smallest Shih Tzu i've seen (she's still 5 lbs.) but is very healthy and happy. I could NOT be happier with Mr. Pickles! Yesterday, the driver who picked him up at the airport telephoned to tell me he had picked him up and would be heading to my home shortly. He told me how incredibly cute Mr. Pickles is. When he dropped him off at my house, I could not believe how tiny and adorable he is. When we went to the vet this morning, the girls who work there were totally smitten and carried him around to show him off. I just wanted to let you know that we are over the top crazy about our new little boy. We've renamed him Ziggi, since the name matches our other dachshund, "Zottie." From the minute he arrived, he has been the light of our lives. He is funny, smart and 110% dachshund. His favorite thing is to be carried like a baby and having his belly rubbed. Of course, we all oblige. He was a wonderful decision. Although we knew other dachsunds were available at a much lower cost, we went with him and were not disappointed. Ziggi was beautifully socialized and adapted well to our senior dog. He's learning the ropes and has been surprisingly easy to train. What a dog! The cutest thing...when I went to the counter where he was, I walked up and said "I'm here to pick my dog," and Burke let out two assertive barks. Just wanted to report back at the end of our first day with "Luke." He arrived safely and on schedule in New York this morning. Our kids took the day off school to meet the new family member, and as soon as we opened the crate, it was love at first sight! "Luke" (we haven't quite settled on a name of our own yet, but are leaning towards "Snickers") is even more beautiful than his pictures, and his personality is SO sweet: loving and playful yet calm and centered -- so much so, that we actually haven't even heard him bark yet. He's also been quite good already about using his puppy pads. I have to say, I had been somewhat skeptical about buying a puppy online without first meeting him, but could not be happier with the outcome: we seem to have found the perfect dog for our family. He's off to the vet's tomorrow for his first New York City check-up. Thanks to you all for helping to facilitate this wonderful addition to our family.

I received Cody the Puppy (aka Bailey) last Monday and he's been perfectly fine and healthy! I took him to the vet and the vet said he was healthy and in a good shape. Potty training is in progress and we taught him how to sit! We're all happy for a fabulous new family member!

Lil Princess and Cocoa Puff are doing great! Let me tell you one thing, these puppies are more spoiled than 2 little babies! My mother feeds them out of her hands! They have more toys and beds than you can imagine, and the puppies are able to keep in touch regularly because I see my mom a lot; I take Cocoa Puff with me and she and Lil Princess get to see each other and play. Its so cute! I have barely left the house because I can't bear to leave her, unless of course she can come with me! It's ridiculous! They both are the most lovable, playful pups. He has it all like a new baby came to the family: bed, blanket, toys, car seat, carrier. He is the smartest dog I have ever seen, he learns fast, and playful at that. I am just writing to tell you what joy Dakota has brought to this family. My son was deadly afraid of dogs till Dakota, but from the time we brought Dakota home from the airport he was in love with this 3 1/2 month old puppy. He was actually a birthday gift for my 8 year old daughter who has dyslexia and has to go to a special school to help her. But we really felt this dog was to help both of them. He is now 1 year old and a joyful part of this family. I am writing to you just to say THANK YOU Again and Thanks to the breeder for sending us just a wonderful wonderful dog. He is our baby.

I have been a dog lover my whole life and when I put my dog down 4 years ago who lived to be 17 I really have had a hard time of finding the right dog for me and my family. I was so hesitant about purchasing any more dogs, that was until my 9 year old son found your company on line and made me call. The minute I spoke with one of your puppy counselors I knew that I was hooked again. I have always wanted a Boxer and your counselor’s knowledge on Boxers and what Breeder would be good for me was so impressive, she talked me through everything not only did I buy one Boxer I bought two!! The counselor was there every time I had a question or concern even when the puppies came home she was still willing to answer any question I had. Your puppy counselors not only care about animals but are also so genuine and really care about the people who they place animals with. I told her I am going to miss talking to her we became such good buddies over the past two weeks or so!! I just wanted you to know what a valuable employees you have which I am sure you already know. I just wanted to let you know that I love my new puppy. I’ve named her Jazmine and I call her Jazzy. She is just as sweet as she looks. She was great in the 6 hour car drive. She also makes herself right at home, I stopped at my parents house and their dog (3 yr Shih Tzu) was eating and there was some chicken mixed in with her dog food and Jazmine snuck in and grabbed a piece of chicken!! I have 2 stairs going from the living room to the kitchen and she flies up and down them. She slept on my bed all night. She is a wonderful dog with a great personality. I took her to the vet today and everything was good. Tomorrow she goes to the beauty parlor, that should be interesting. I just wanted to let you know how happy I am that I found her!!

We are pleased and happy to announce the arrival of our new Daughter "Mia" She arrived home and was bright eyed and had to investigate the entire house. A visit to the Doctor confirmed that she was indeed a very healthy and happy young lady. A couple of shots, weighed in at 2 1/2 pounds. She has Sable colored hair. Eats readily, and loves to play and while in the yard; her running is like a rubber ball bouncing along. We just have to be careful about stepping on her (she follows us everywhere) or sitting on her. Oh yes, she is a Pocket / Toy Pomeranian..

We got the puppy late, at about 5:30pm. I am not sure who was the most anxious one.... Penelope (AKA Lacy) or myself. She arrived with no problem, and the vet confirmed on Saturday that she is fine. Now, I have to deal with two "dominant" dogs, as my little Penelope has a lot of character, as does Ulysse. I love the difference of colors and personality, and the fact they are both very playful. You really have taken good care of us, as customers (twice), and not only do I appreciate it, but moreover I shall recommend you to my friends.

We picked up Poncho (VITO) today at the airport, it could not have gone more smoothly...the puppy is ADORABLE. We are all in love with him, especially Linda and her husband...they have already begun spoiling him silly since bringing him home this afternoon.

Just wanted to update you on Hilton (now named Tazer) arrived home safe and sound. His kennel was not soiled at all when we picked him up at the airport. He was a little nervous, but I held him all the way home and by the time we got home, he was more calm. He is adorable and I am in LOVE! He was on my heels the entire evening. He had a nice warm bath which he took to really well, ate really good (he was hungry!), had play time, and within an hour he was playing fetch and bringing me his ball. He loves his toys and especially little apple treats! He is SO smart! Tazer acts like he has been here for years and just struts around the house like he owns it!! My warmest thanks to you and his breeder.

Molly is the queen of our castle. Even my husband is wrapped around her little paw. At the first peep, he is out of his seat to see what she needs. She has taken to the paper training very well. She was not so sure about the crate, but we put a little radio in the room with her and play it at night, just like you suggested. It has worked wonders! We are still getting up with her once during the night to take her to the wee wee pad. We expect that to end once she puts on a few more ounces. Thank you so much!!

No More Empty Nest

Hello to everyone at BPD!! I wanted to let you know that Bella is doing well in her new home. We have only had one accident in the house and it was more human error than anything else. She is a very sweet girl. She follows me all around the house waiting for me to sit down so she can climb in my lap. I will send pictures soon, so you can see how much she has grown.

After the loss of our little Ruby, we were not sure we were ready for another puppy. Boy were we wrong! Although Lila will never replace Ruby, she has warmed our hearts and brightened our home in a way we never expected.
