About miniature pinschers
Despite their resemblance, Miniature Pinschers are not miniature versions of the Dobermans who share their name. Often known as “the King of Toys,” Miniature Pinschers originated in Germany, where they were bred to be barnyard ratters. These proud pups have a distinctive, high-stepping gait and a spirited, animated demeanor. They bond closely with their humans and thrive on attention and interaction. Great with children, “Min-Pins” are great family pets and watchdogs and, at an average of 8-10 lbs. fully grown, they are well-suited for both apartment living as well as larger homes.
